.NET is being developed for the next generation of operating systems. Since problems have also been reported on Win2K, chances are that Win98 is no good at all. But let us know what happens with the new graphics card. The 256 MB RAM is plenty (and will certainly allow you to run Windows XP). I have no more than 256 MB myself.
