| But you've said this was a progressive failure that didn't used to happen? I had a similar problem with MM8 in that it would crash inexplicably, though not as predictably as your MM9 does. What I figured might have happened (I was playing it on the same computer I'd always played on) was that the game disk had somehow gotten scratched along the way (not with a big scratch I could see, but the disk was scuffed a bit). There wasn't much I could do, unfortunately, except save often. |
