Original Message: I'm completely "on the rails" |

My system is quite up to date, using FAT32 (I see no reason in using NTFS to gain a little more space and lose DOS and some HD speed), recent drivers installed... Win XP PRO SP2, indeed a lot of changes since the years back while I used to play this game in Win ME and an onboard "graphics card"... I know that something on my system is not 100% compatible with this game, but trying to find WHAT exactly is out of line is absolutely away from my range of time/benefit... changing a driver here and there should fix the problem, or not... but is that really worthwhile? I don't think so... too much work for (who knows) nothing, since the operational system may be the main cause of the problem. Praying before the loading of the screens is better than any blind try-to-fix, in my humble opinion... As I see I'm not alone with this annoying crash... this fact makes myself less hopeful in trying to find a solution. However, let me know if you have any good news. Thank you very much! |
