I went back to Sturmford and checked everything. The guy was in the cell but I went throught the dialogues agian and got him to open then close the door. Then I went and talked to the son about the job and then back to the shop to talk to the owner. When I got back to Lindisfarne the promotion went through. It probably was the talking to the shop owner. Thx everyone for the help
