| ...that you didn't actually select a character to promote to Paladin. The promo dialogues in this game are dicey. You only get one chance to do it, and if you make a mistake there and then save your game, it's irrecoverable. Do you have an earlier back-up save? If not, it's possible to edit your savegame files with a hex editor. I don't know how to do that, but others in the tavern do. |
