The standard installer seems to have load os problems. The new one would still read the original files from the disks. It would just replace the original, placing all the files in the right folders and making the correct registry entries. Presumably it would use the proper routines to avoid all these install problems. Come to think of it, I should probably make a replacement for the 1.2 patch.... |
