I just got MM9 and I've been unsuccessfuly trying to install it.

I have

Win2000 (upgraded from NT4) Pentium 4 3 Gb RAM ATI Radeon X600 Pro

I found your tips on how to get around this error but I can't seem to find a way of switching the Compatibility Mode. That option just is nowhere to be found! Also tried:

- disabling my anti-virus and firewall - uninstalling some of Windows updates (hey, I got desesperate! But I end up quiting - it's a lot of stuff to download again and it wasn't working anyway) - copying the CD to my HD and installing from there - safe mode - command prompt (!) ...

Any thoughts? Please...
