Ok, after just being promoted to Gladiator, I had enough points to raise spear to 7 and get it upgraded to Master. In the description, it says "Allows spear use in left hand". I take it this meat you could dual-weild spears, or carry a spear and shield at the same time. However, after playing around I couldn't get it to really do anything. Is this yet another skill bug, or is there something I have not tried?
