In the first visit on Isle of Ashes it is pretty much easy to grab that book from Verhoffins ruins, and then all the party has to do is to notice the green magreeb in Thjorgard and travel to Drangheim for the real book. The priest quest takes place in Lindisfarne and Frosgard which are pretty far and that priest icon takes some fighting as well. If the party is going to have a lich instead of a mage, then priest is easier, of course.
