As an experiment, I tried telling a lie to the man giving the Scholar quest: I said the Magreeb was Red. 6125 exp. Reloading, I gave the true answer: Green. 2750 exp. So, confirming the erroneous previous reports gained my party 3375 exp. So it's true, (some) video games encourage immoral behavior, heh heh.
