There are some placed artifacts (e.g. Gungnir in a black chest in Inventa Storca, Everstrike in the Dook's Castle (or more accurately, under it), and Spencer's Obedience in the tunnels connecting Thronheim to Yorwick) but I've not found any other "patterned" drops like that in the Ruined Temple. For example, I had most of the Death set in one game, but I found them all over the place - none of them, incidentally in the chest in the Lich Lab.
