not all items can be the weaker the item the less chance it can handle the enchantment you wantto put on it

also, ithonly a 50% chance you might be trying to enchant a item that you cannot put a STRONG ENOUGH enchantment

its a really messed up enchant system

as for potions, uhm.. i always just sold them for cash...
