You've installed the 1.2 patch (but not the 1.3a patch) and you're getting the [Invalid Text] message, right? I feel slightly better. Did you check the game before applying the 1.2 patch? Just curious. I've grown to suspect that something about the game has trouble with NTFS. It might be that the problem is with the 1.2 patch and NTFS. Did you apply the 1.2 patch in Safe Mode? If not, try that. If that doesn't work then I'd suggest creating a new partition using FAT32, but let's take one step at a time.
