MMIX is a sad hollow shell of it's former incarnations. So why the hell can't I quit playing? I am having a very frusterating problem getting my Paladin his Master of Merchant. He got his expert no problem. He now has a merchant skill level of 8. I finally found a dude in Frothgar (or whatever the snowy place is called) that promotes Merchants to Master level. When approached, he says my Paladin needs to become a level 7 before he can be promoted to Master! I ran into the exact same response from the Merchant promoter in one of the Thorblah blah places as well! Does anyone know of a fix for this problem? Is it a know bug, or am I going to have to wander around with empty pockets from the horridly high training costs forever? Help.... Please.
