inside where the wheels are, the chains don't glow red and i can't attack them or toss spells at them. outside, where the chains come out of the room to the portcullis, no red glow and again, i'm unable to attack them or break them. i can get the drawbridge open with the lever... but that darn portcullis just insists on staying tightly closed. i replayed the area twice, deleting my mini-saves. tried it first at perception 2, then spent my money training it up to 4. but i can't afford to get or even know where to find a trainer to bring it up to expert yet. does that make a difference? thanks for any more help you can give me.
