If you zip it it shouldn't be so big, would it? The exe file isn't that big. I downloaded 1.3a's patch in about 40 seconds. There's two problems, no, three problems with what you recommend. 1) I already tried that. I'm not stupid. I saw a similar error posted and saw that was the solution. 2) Starting in safe mode prevents the drivers for my CD drive. So I can't install. My CD drive just disappears when I'm in safe mode. 3) I have the 'platinum edition' so it installs as 1.2 and apparently the 1.2 patch doesn't work. The easiest solution I can see is to manually install the REZ files, especially the three causing the problem (Art, Worlds, Sprites).
