Just got rid of my win98(not se) and pent1-200 and got this machine. it is faster and the xp i bought had sp2 - IT seems Fine once my eyes dried from all the games i cant seem to play anymore (inc WOX). I don't Think you will have problems just from sp2 by my experience BUT must agree with roc - dont love change w/o (good)reason-
