Also, make sure that your disks aren't badly scratched. If so they can be polished, or perhaps one CD drive will read them while another might not. If you are installing on a WinXP system, make sure that you've closed all background programs -- especially antivirus and firewall programs. Installing in Safe Mode is another option.
