Only in the manual and in the game info they made a mistake. The official home page stated the right skill description as in the game. Helas the 3DO web page is down. I think GM skill must be more then just better then Master. It must be worth to invest in. Most skills aer not much better at GM then Master so you won't invest in them. This boost makes it an intereting skill. I may agree that 5 times is excessif but 3 times would have been fine.
