I've downloaded the MMIX patches (1.2, 1.3) and have applied them. I've tried this with the initial install, 1.2 and 1.3 exclusively...I'm running XP with SP1...now the problem!

Most of the keyboard commands put me in a non-functional state. I try 'I' for inventory and not only does the inventory screen NOT come up...the screen just hangs for a long time. ESC doesn't work...do I really need to run this in the dosbox?

Laptop is Toshiba Tecra M1, hardware up the ying-yang...(meaning I know the resources are not the problem...)...HELP!
