According to Tim Lang (who worked on MM6&7) the name of the planet was "Enroth" named after the continent in MM6. This doesn't sound quite right to me but who am I to argue with the game's developers! It may be the closest they ever got to naming the planet. I'm guessing that links to earlier MM games (VARN,Ironfist, Kilburn, New Sorpigal etc.) were mainly used to make experienced MM players feel a bit more at home with what was a completely new storyline in MM6. Could be wrong though...
