Yesterday i bought a stick of ram (512meg pc2700) so i could have more ram. I already had 256meg (pc2700). So that would make it 768. I can run M&M9 with the 256 alone. I can run M&M9 with the 512 meg alone. But alas it wont run with both in at the same time. I have found that there is a problem with win98 running some programs with more than 512 meg of ram. I tried limiting this with the, Start>Run>Msconfig>Advanced>"Limit memory to" option with limited results. Limited at 512 it plays for a while until it seems the memory is used up (crashes). Wierd. Then I tried 384 and that does the same thing. So this MUST mean that the extra ram is trying to use already allocated slots for the video card. Just for curiosities sake My mother board is a Gigabyte GA-7VA (I can't set the AGP aperture).
