I just did a clean install of xp pro sp1 on a machine on May 1st. It was using directx 8.1 and I installed the Millennium edition of MM6 & MM7 and a copy of MM8 and MM9. All programs are running fine with no problems. I also upgraded directx to 9.0a and have had no problems yet. i have added some new programs and so far have had no ill effects, but some people are still having problems with xp altho I think it is usually driver problems..
