I am trying to play the MM 6, 7, and 8 and I am having problems. I have read the 2 or 3 posts on the subject specially the one posted by Serena. Here is how it goes. No 1 I do not know much about computer this is why I am asking for your opinion. MM6 installed without problem and plays well. MM7 says it cannot find the autorun. MM8 intalls but will not play because it says that I don't have a CDrom drive. As soon as I put the CD in the cdrom drive diseapears. I am having trouble intalling other older games. So, I contacted a technician at a computer place near home and here is his suggestion. Bring in your computer I will remove Windows XP and install Windows 98 and allyour problems will be solved! This is what I suggest to all my customers. He says XP is too unstable for the like of me, a grand-mother only trying to play my favorites games in eace without running into complicate problems. Now is the REAL QUESTION, what is your opinion? He is right? What about the games that are yet to be published are they going to run on 98? I hate to act on this one person's suggestion without checking with you guys who play these games and probably know as much fi not more than this guy. Thank you in advance.
