    Hi again guys !

    Its me jack jack 1.

I just got MM8 from gog.

Is the bug for GM Bow still there? Because fleetfingers and plus bow from items would not rise the damage.

    Only hard point would.

    Has it been fixed?

Is there a way to fix that?

I used to do solo knight solo troll solo lich and now feel like solo dark elf but this bug puts me off a little.

    Cheers !

GOG never fixes anything, but a few skilled fans have made fixes to the games -- notably Mok ans GrayFace. Below is a link to GrayFace's patches. They include all of Mok's earlier fixes. I didn't find any references to GM Bow in the list of fixes, but it might be covered under something else. I do know that GrayFace was aware of that bug.

Please let us know what you learn. Thanks.

    Maybe there is a solution.

Twice or three times a year for the last two decades i do a solo mm6 mm7 or mm8 run.

If this bug is not addressed i will go for a solo mm8 necro then.

Thanks for the links. I will check them out tonite.

    Cheers !!!

The script used by these boards is so old that it doesn't recognize "https" as a valid protocol. No problem. The target site will switch to https automatically.

But I retire in 6 days, and I'm looking forward to doing all the things I've not been able to do mainly because the time's never been available in large enough chunks for me to reach a reasonable break point (i.e. one where I could remember my trains of thought) in what I was doing when I came back to it after spending 6 weeks doing what people paid me for!

For one thing, I've lost count of the number of MM6 games I've abandoned because I couldn't remember what I was going to do next,

. . . and I must see if I still have enough digital dexterity left to play the 3 Eye of the Beholder games again,

    . . . and I've got a D&D adventure half-written that I don't think I've touched for at least 2 years,

. . . not to mention the decorating!

I could go on like this all evening . . .
