Knight is not worth much to me. Maybe the very early part, but late you do not really want to go hand to hand with the monsters you met.

Dragon is excellent the whole game, only issue is those rats that are hard to hit. The massive hit points make it as tough as any unit.

I agree that Monitors were a big let down. I just always recall how scary they were when you first ran into them in Homm.
