Reputation in MM8 doesn't improve when Quests are completed, unlike in MM7. Did the developers forget to add in Reputation rewards for Quests? The most I could do was donate 10 times at Temples to get a green "Neutral" Reputation. Slightly off topic/wrong board, but in MM7, you could donate at a Temple 10x to raise Rep. to the maximum "Neutral", then complete Quests to raise the Rep. to Friendly and Liked. Charles Quixote offers to promote in Wromthrax's Cave after slaying Wromthrax, but you can ignore him and go to a city to complete the quest instead, for the Rep. bonus in the city. If you complete it in the cave, you "waste" the Rep. bonus in the cave. By doing it in Stone City with all Stone City quests completed, you can get really good prices even with just expert Merchant.
