Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. I loved playing MM6&7 (well 3-5 too "back in the day"). I just assumed that party order matters in 8 as it did in those as I often shifted my chars around strategically too in those games. Kind of wondering if I should've started with a Knight or Troll instead of a Dark Elf for my first play through on 8 as I think I'd prefer his nifty bow work in the middle of the party, but oh well, we'll see!
