In starting point we have only one character. After that is possible to hire different characters and team could be combined in many ways. Or starting character could be alone. MM6 and 7 we have team from "0" and no changes while game. It means solo or trio is up to player. Only thing is , that there are many options for party. For example 1+4 Dragons.
It does not mean, that mod could be developed for solo particularly (or any other "exotic" ways). Every player will find hes/her own way, I think.
