don't use a solo Vampire. I got slaughtered. Eventually I gave up. I did hear of one I found rather interesting though - one guy here did a solo troll game awhile back, and I gather he finished, and quite enjoyed it. Troll was his favourite character from what I remember, but he hasn't been around much lately - maybe somebody else remembers how successful he was? Now, I've not had experience with every character class, but I expect the best for a solo run would be one who could access Air and Water, for Fly and TP and LB. Other than that it depends what you want.
