I have no clue what I'm talking about but here is what I would probably do first. Try completely uninstalling the game. Then reinstall the game onto the computer. Since you already have the Service Pack and you have Direct X 9.0c, it might read those instead of the older version. Yah...probably doesn't make sense but its a long shot
