| I had to create a shortcut to the MM8.EXE file in order to bypass the video configuration program. If you try to run MM8 the normal way it tries running the game with video and audio acceleration on at first. Unfortunately, most people never get to see the config program since the crash to desktop often occurs. Then the registry settings need to be edited for the game to get it to work correctly. |
