All the monsters are the same color. How do I fix this?

Does anybody know how to make the color of the monsters and peasants the way it should be? They're all green in my game.
I just got the game from GOG after years of not having it and I never had this issue back in the day.

My guess ...

Okay, it was the hardware acceleration. I figured it out.

That's always been a problem.

Even back in the late 1990's, when the game was being played on machines using the chips it had been designed for, hardware acceleration was not problem-free. On the machine I had then, hardware acceleration allowed me to distinguish between monsters of the same class which all looked the same under software acceleration, but it made the game very much more likely to crash. Sometimes the crash froze the computer to the point at which the only way out was to pull the plug, and that usually left lost clusters on the disk, necessitating the use of Scandisk to find and get rid of them.

Another version is - the spread of elven or goblin trends and fashions ? Or the population works as part-time rangers.
    No reason to worry
    So it's ok .

I don't know MM7 really well; it's my least favourite of the later Might & Magic games. I'm looking forward to playing BDJ's mod of the game, though - when I eventually retire! I wonder how he is. . . ?
