Emerald Isle - longbow for hunt in Maestro's Mod

If it is in the dragons cave I think I'm done for. These dragons kick my butt pronto when I go in there. I have been lucky in getting a few things but no bow. Got a cape, a ring and an artifact and perhaps one other item. These things do not satisfy the hunt. Have tried scouring the island to no avail and have destroyed all the dragonflies two or three times. Still have not found another longbow. Do have a bow equipped but that apparently is not the right one. Anyone know where this bow is??? THANX!!!!

Don't know about Maestro's mod, but in the vanilla game, ...

Its very easy to beat the dragon, it just takes patience and 2 ordinary bows for al your characters. keep a distance and just dodge his fireball attacks (very easy) keep shooting and moving around him till he`s dead. then you can take the bow and all the lovely items the dragon has..if you know how to get them properly ;D haha

I had tried to do a little cheating via a character editor by giving myself 'Expert' in Wizards Eye (allowing me to see the blue treasure dots on the map). Just my luck it didn't work out for me as the 'longbow' was on the north shore in the water and I did not see it! I reloaded my game to a previous save without the benefit of the cheat and located the 'longbow' anyway. Been quite a while since I played the original game and at 76 my memory isn't all that good for facts of this nature!! Anyway, am now off the island into 'Harmondale' and I guess I'll never kick butt in that Dragon Cave without some really serious character editing of various aspects of each character. THANX!!
