Mage promotion - golem problem

Check the borders of the NPC character picture at top right of the adventuring screen - there should be a tiny arrow on the side of the frame. Click on this to scroll through the NPCs, and when you reach the golem, click on him to assemble your golem.

    BTW, you are using the correct golem head, aren't you? (HINT!)

    The false head will still let you complete the quest. What happens iirc is that the golem will attack you in harmdale castle.

    Not a big deal as you just kill him. I was so disappointed to find the golem does not even put up a good fight with the rats.

    If I sleep in the castle and get attacked, I expected the golem to be able to kill them.
