The last few days has seen my computer having a serious booting problem. Anyhow, I have restored my computer to an earlier point which seems to have solved the problem. But now I have another problem. I had to reinstall the Might and Magic 7 game but everytime I do so a message comes up. It says " Error 57. I/O error. R2ctLNS". I found out that error 57 denotes a possible hardware conflict. I have checked everything and ther eis no conflict. So I looked more into the R2ctLNS file. I have located this in the M and M instalation disk and I have found that it belongs to something to do with Active x. I have tried other disks, and they are instaling ok. Can anybody please help me eith this problem. I am using xp proff.
