. . . the Town Portal spell only becomes operative for each place if your party drinks from the fountain which acts as the teleport receiving point in that place. I remember failing to do that in Nighon and having to make my weary way through the Connecting Passages (or should that be Tunnels?) for a second time. I can't be certain that's the reason, of course, but it's a very easy mistake to make. |
