Thank you for the help! The game I'm looking for seems very similar to Blood and Magic in interface https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vhnpi12z_0 but it's not it. I remember there were six races I think giants, dwarves, humans and mages or necromancers. And the mages were evil. They built a dark cathedral or cathedral of shadows or something it was a campaign (quest) of the game. Also later the humans had a quest to destroy the dark cathedral. I got the game from a cd with 1997 games so I guess the game must have been released in 1997. It was a real time strategy I think. Also when clicking on casting the spells they had strange names like "ferula" or something. And the giants were making funny sounds.
