Check which version of the game you have (not the file, the game), and if it's v1.0, apply the official patch. Do that early. Then try it, and if the game runs without further patching, leave it alone. If it doesn't work, try Mok's MM7 patch first. You'll have to ask somebody else where you find that, though. I thought I knew where a copy of that was, but it turns out that I don't!
