Normally you can only loot up to 15 (iirc) Artifacts/Relics from corpses before they stop spawning, and do not repeat items. The chests which ALWAYS have an Artifact/Relic, such as in Clanker's Lab and Colony Zod, do not count towards this limit, and can spawn those that have appeared before. You can wait for the area to respawn and loot even more Artifacts/Relics. Clanker's Amulet isn't an Artifact or Relic, just a special item. It can't drop from monsters. When Clanker's Lab and/or the School of Sorcery respawn, you can clear them out for even MORE copies. But a +25 Alchemy Amulet is pretty easy to find, rendering it useless. If only the bonus from Clanker's stacked with normal items like it does on Artifacts/Relics... As for Hermes, you can get it whenever the Mega-Dragon respawns in the Dragon Caves.
