Original Message:   I should imagine that it will work perfectly in the DOS shell of Win98.
I had some problems die to shortage of base memory. However, my Win98 partition does not access the Internet any more, so I felt at liberty to uninstall Norton Antivirus, and that freed up enough to run MM3 quite happily. The only thing that doesn't work is that since the audio section of the motherboard failed, I don't get any sound any more. But I can put up with that.

In fact, I'm running an MM3 game now, with a party of Knight, Paladin, Archer, Ranger, Cleric and Sorcerer. After a swift trip into the Halls of Insanity, my sorcerer is now able to act as my thief. Progress so far is that the corrupt, ungodly, and undead have been expelled with extreme prejudice from Fountain Head and Baywatch, the Temple of Moo has just been cleansed, and the evildoers skulking in the caverns under Wildabar are quaking in their boots. *evil grin*
