It may not be your Disc drive, it could be Windows 7 and it's security mania. Try this: click on the Windows icon in the lower left of your desktop (used to be the start button), click on computer, then right click the CD drive and click Open, right click on the Autorun and select "Run as administrator".You have to tell Windows 7 every time you want to run something that makes changes to your hard drive that you ARE an administrator and you DO have the right to do it. If that doesn't work then it probably is the drive.
