I can read and re-read a book many times. For example, after I first bought Lord of the Rings, I re-read it more then once during the following year, and still dip into it now, over 40 years later. If I only find a book worth reading once, I usually either re-sell it or give it to charity. If I really enjoy it, I will keep it and at some point re-read it. The only problem with this is that I accumulate books. I now have over 2000, and it's a problem finding how to store them.
