There's one opponent in particular, late on in the game, that people have really struggled to beat without the services of a cleric casting Protection from Magic at the GM level. Also, I find the gameplay is unbelievably frustrating when I can't bounce around using Lloyd's Beacon, and for me, LB scrolls just don't hack it. Oh, BTW, watch how you set up your party in this game, and be careful to create your tougher characters first. You can't swap the lineup around in MM7 like you can in MM6.
