| ... I would never play a party which had no sorcerer, especially on the Dark Path. Shrapmetal cast by a fully developed sorcerer or cleric is the most consistently deadly spell in the game. IIRC, there isn't a regular monster present which can withstand more than 4 or so casts of that spell when it's used properly. Also, the ability to bug out from a nasty situation by casting either Town Portal or Lloyd's Beacon while in combat is invaluable. |
