remove the keys from you character's inventory. Put all the keys in one character's inventory and use that character to do the key sequence. Put the CURSOR on the keyhole and click on that keyhole. This will work most of the time, but if you can't get in the right position, try putting the curser on the keyhole and use the spacebar. When you make a successful "unlock", the button on the top of the pillar shuld depress by itself. Just place the cursor on the keyhole and click (or use the spacebar).
