I have Home Premium 64 bit. I used my Platinum and for VIII and VI. Milleniumn for VII. The plat VII was getting read errors, till I found it was dirty. Open the CD and run the setup as admin. Run the game as admin. Not sure that is required, but that is what I did. If you don't those apps will probably not be able to write the saves in the install folder. They will be stashed in the user folders.
