You can collect the official patch from TELP's download site (http://telp.org/files/mm7/), as you probably know. Mok wrote separate patches for each of MM6, MM7 and MM8, and Chlala keeps accessible copies of these at the link below. You can find out what Mok's patch corrects by checking out http://telp.org/mm7/tavern/anyboard/posts/19648.html [You might be able to download the patch from the link in that post as well, but I'm not sure that it still works.] Incidentally, when I installed Mok's patch to play MM6 on a WinXP system (the intent is to play BDJ's modded game - when I can find the time to do it! And I still like an archer in my party in this game! |

), it told me that the update had failed. In point of fact, what had failed was the update of the Readme file; the exe file had updated correctly. So if you get similar messages, it might be worth checking further and not taking them at face value.
