IIRC you end up outside the city of Thorgard in the countryside. There is no need to cast feather fall here as the party never takes damage on that jump.

If you are talking about jumping from Yanmir's Castle, OK, but, make sure you hit ice down below otherwisw it's a long cold swim back to town
