I don't see how overwrite is different from replace. The old file will be totally deleted by the new one, if in packed format, as the lods are.

What was the BDJ end? Just to know what I missed. Great mod btw, even if I had some hints problems I fully enjoyed them.

About hints, I also create mods in WoG format (Heroes) and the player has a papyrus (book) where all his moves and actions are giving additional informations, are constantly updated and the player is never "lost". Of course the hints can be imaged, subtle, but still they are.

I heard the quantity of possible text in MM is limited, maybe this is the reason of why I had to play blind most of the game.

Anyway, thanks for your big help, and if you still play HoMM maybe one day you will give a try to my RPG mode. It changes totally the mechanics.
